Calculate tons and cubic yards of gravel for driveways, paths and landscaping.
Formula: Cubic feet = length × width × (depth ÷ 12). Cubic yards = cubic feet ÷ 27. Tons = cubic yards × density (1.3-1.5 tons/cu yd).

Tip: Compacted gravel is ~15-20% less volume than loose. Order extra for compaction. A typical dump truck carries 10-15 tons.
